Just switched to fios and they got port 80 blocked, anybody using any other ports with success?

I would never use port 80 (personally); it makes it harder for hackers to find the AC3. Any other port should be fine.

I have Fios. You can log in to the router and use port forwarding to direct a certain port to your AC3's IP address. I use port 9500.

So I point my browser to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9500. In the router the port forwarding is set up so that port 9500 goes to 192.168.0.50, which is the IP I specified on my AC3. Then on the AC3 I set the HTTP port to 9500.

The rule definition should be
Neptune TCP any -> 9500

The reason is somewhat technical but the "any" part of the rule is the port number that is originating the call. The way the rule reads it says 'take incoming calls to port 9500 from any originating port and forward it to the port specified below'.

The part below says to forward it to the same port as the original destination port.

BTW, I left my AC3 unchanged from the default port and used the forwarding table to take incoming calls on 9500 and forward them to 80. This allows me to not have to specify the port number in the browser address when I am home on my own network. I only need to add the ":9500" when coming in from the internet.

My screen looks just like yours except I forward to 80 instead of 9500.

Are you sure you set your AC3 to look for connections on 9500 rather than 80 (when you hit it from your home net you use 192.168.1.50:9500)?
