Hi,

LFS has a purple lemnalia that is pretty good size. I don't see these often in the trade. Perhaps that is not a good sign. I am just wondering if anyone has had any good luck keeping these types of soft corals. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Photobucket doesnt seem to be up at the moment, so here is a link to a thread with a picture of mine, and a link to some at Garf.
Ive had mine for over 2months (not a long time relatively speaking), I think they tend to come in in poor condition and if you can get them established they are relatively hearty.

Mine was doing very well for a month, then I saw a worm on it and pulled it out of the tank and dipped in Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure. The dip knocked a medium size worm off of it, and a couple nudibranchs, since the dip it hasnt opened quite as full as it was opening before, but that may be flow related since the rockstack in that part of the tank got slightly rearranged. I adjusted the powerheads in that area tonight(increased indirect flow), so I'll see if that helps it any.
