Silicone? Otherwise, I am not sure there is a "glue".

Weld-on is acrylic to acrylic. In another thread I just read the used suggested Stik-n-seal from Loctite avail at Ace and others. All major tank mfg use Silicone.
I've always used silicone, as the box is under pressure from the water against the wall of the tank. It does not require as strong of a seal as the tank which is under tension.
If it happens to be an external overflow then it has to be made of glass for a glass tank.

Use silicone for aquariums or type 1 window and door without the mildew inhibitor. GE1200 is one of the best if you have an industrial supply account somewhere.

you can use just ge silicone I i think it is the kind with no mildew resistant stuff in it...although one thing i used to do was to use some superglue to glue the acrylic to the glass in the first place then seal iwth the silicone
