I want to get some magnets to mount a few coral frags to and attach them to my back wall in my tank. I've heard that certain ones can actually leach corrosion into your tank. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent brand or company that sells these magents.

Thanks!

They'll only leach metals if the magnet itself comes in contact with the saltwater in your tank. The water corrodes the magnet thus leaching heavy metals into your tank. As long as they're sealed properly there shouldn't be a problem. It's actually really easy/cheaper to make your own with some liquid/spray on rubber and magnets you can buy at any hobby store--Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.

bph0013,
Exactly which product do you use to coat the magnets?
I also want to use magnets to mount nori clips instead of suction cups and was looking for something that I could seal them up in that can firmly attach to clips.
