Something is biting the tails of my fish. I have a 180 reef community tank. Everything was fine until I added from a privite individual a hippo tang, sunset wrasse, possum red and grey wrasse, potters wrasse, and angel beauty. I currently have a yellow, naso, sailfin tang, dispar anthias, pink square anthias, royal gamma, fire goby, secretive wrasse, kole tang, cleaner wrasse, cleaner goby, lamarch and bellus angel, chromis, and a pair of blue jaw twiggers, and a maroon clown. The injured fish are the hippo tang, naso tang, marroon clown, and fire goby. No injured fish noted until the above added almost a week ago.

I would bet it is one of the wrasse...

Ammonia spike maybe from the sudden increase in bio-load?

What does ammonia level have to do with injured fish?

I agree with the ammonia comment, but reminds me of a clown trigger I used to have that chased my fish and bit their tales.

The pair of blue jaw twiggers I have are suppose to be reef safe and I never had any injury to any fish until I noticed it today. I am checking my ammonia level right now

Hopefully it isn't the case in your situation, but, I believe increased ammonia levels can burn fins as well as cause other external damage to fish. If you aren't using it already I would get some carbon in right away if this turns out to be the case along with water changes of course.

My ammonia level is 0.25, do you think my coral banded shrimp could of started hurting them, he molted last night and he is really large.

You want your ammonia level to be at zero. I would bet that is the culprit.
