I am trying to figure out if this new epoxy I got my hands on for sticking frags into my reef safe before I use it. I am trying to compare it to Aquamend, which is safe and sold by Home Depot. This stuff is larger and cheaper for me. I was able to find the MSDS's on both, but don't know how to make heads or tails of them in comparison. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the links for the Aquamend made by Polymeric Systems, Inc.:

www.industrialbolt.com/msds/EZ_POXY_AQUA_REPAIR.pdf

And for the Pig Wet Sruface Repair Putty:

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I have been using aquamend for quite a while with no ill effect in my mixed reef. it's cheap and works great.

I guess I was a little confusing. I currently use the Aquamend product, but was thinking of this PIG stuff as it is in a larger package with more stuff.

2-3 bucks at home depot or 10+ at your lfs

The question was not the price, but of the effect on water. I know the prices, and have access to the PIG item.
