what is the minimum size i could use as a refugium on my 75 fowlr. will my eshopps 75 cs do?

I don't think there is a minimum size, but I would shoot for as large as you can fit into your space. ;)

^what he said^ if it is too small it may very well be more hassle than its worth - go with the biggest you can fit in the space you have - you will not be disappointed.

Really small fuges can become just that; a refuge for small critters, etc. and can be pretty cool to maintain. In effect a different sort of nano. But won't be very functional in terms of filtration benefit if that's what you're after.
