Sorry to ask this same thing again but I want to be sure this is the same "Aquamend" you guys use.
Thanks

I have used that brand before and it worked well. My only complaint was the color of the putty basically turns white, and sticks out like a sore thumb in a purple coralline algae reef. The last tube I bought was called aquastik from two-little-fishes, and this putty is purple and blends in well. Besides the looks, they both work the same.

that's the stuff. (It's cheaper at the Home Depot, though).
Coralline will cover it in a matter of weeks.

Same stuff I use. And that is a better price than home depot's because the bid is for three tubes and free shipping.

Yep thats the stuff, good price too.
I don't worry about it being white, like mentioned it all blends in, in no time.

Definitely the stuff. Look at your locally owned hardware store before the internet IMO -- you have it right away and you support someone in your community to boot :) As mentioned above, it will blend in sooner than later with algae (purple or otherwise).

Apoxie Sculpt is way way better than Aquamend and much cheaper. It doesn't have that chemical smell, is very easy to work with, non-toxic, etc.

Used it for years with great success. Just be sure to not order the silver gray. It doesn't set properly under saltwater. The other colors seem to be fine. I personally use pink, which is really more cream colored.
