Had a quick question... I was planning on adding about 5 Bartlett Anthias to my tank in the near future, but recently was told that they will eventually all morph to male and pick each other off one by one?

Just wondering if anyone ever heard of this, or have experience with housing multiple Bartletts in the same tank (more than 2)?

Thanks.

The big thread I had about this issue had several people with the experience of them turning male, but still coexisting without too much trouble...

I thought all Anthias form harems. The most dominant of the juvi's / females becoming a male and balance was achieved. Although I've heard of problems with Lyretails...

That's a great thread, thank you for the link. Very interesting and confusing how they seem to change sex so rapidly. Now my question is this... will the males coexist, or will I be fishing them out and donating them to friends as they change?

EDIT... Just saw SDguy's first response.
