Anybody using these yet?

I was thinking about getting a Bubble King for my new setup but it seems I can get a good deal on the UltraSkim.

I bought a skim 2 for my new tank when I build it this year, and was planning on using it on my current tank. The skimmer I have now is a asm G3, but unfortunately I cant help you out cause the skim doesnt fit under my current tank. Its bloody killing me, cant even use my new toy!!!

I would go with an H&S. BK Are good but I think H&S are just as good and cheaper. I would stay away from Fauna Marin to say the least they don't build strong quality products but charge like they do. Plus you will get much better customer service from other companies.

Its a glorified ATI copy.
Look at the Itechs. You'll save money and have a better skimmer. IMO

I picked up a MSX250 for my 180 a few weeks ago.

It's pretty impressive (my last skimmer was a Deltec)
the price sure is a lot better.

That's disapointing. :(

Considering the body design and the pump of the Ultraskim, I'd have to say that I don't see the justification for the price. The MSX and Octo Extremes basically have the same designs (bubbleplate and meshwheel), probably pump more air and cost a lot less.
