I have a CS5-75 that I purchased from you. I just bought a 8800 pressure pump and the pressure gage on my RODI is showing 96 psi. Is that too much pressure?

There are components in the system with a maximum operating pressure of 100 psi, so we always recommend folks not run the pumps any higher than 90 psi. You can turn down the pressure a bit by turning the small allen screw in the middle of the dime-sized raised area on the head of the pump.

I found the adjustment screw and turned the pump down to 90. Wow what a difference in the speed I can filter water compared to when I was just using my normal house pressure of 55 psi.

Thanks for the prompt response :D

You bet - those pumps make one heck of a difference!
