I have a fairly large blue mushroom coral and i was wondering what it looks like when it's about to split? Does it get really big and almost look like it's going to sintch it's self in half then wilt up for awhile or what?

Mine got really big then just started gowning new little babies out from the bottom of it. It eventually moved away from them to another rock and it's reproducing again. The 1st pic is where it used to live when it started to reproduce. the 2nd pic is where it is now.

Mine are spreading like weeds. I think I may be some time for gardening

hahah that blue shroom is on the verge of tank domination. shrooms are awesome but when they get that big, next thing you know you will be trying to give them away. Cool pictures man.

Same here. My shrooms have little shroom babies from under them. My purple ones reproduce like crazy, and my orange ones have taken months to get going. I agree with wanting to almost give them away, I have a purple shroom garden on one side of my tank.
