i have the following setup, i want to run on a dc8. after doing some reading, still not too sure if this is OK, or i will have problems.

as follows:

1. icecap 250W MH , new style
2. icecap 250W MH , old style
3. icecap 660, T5 setup, newer
4. fan, for the icecap
5. mag5
6. tunze 6100
7. tunze 6080
8. moonlights

I am most concerned about problems I hear about DC8 and MH loads.

From what I have read the following:

"The IC 430 and 660 ballast have extremely high inrush currents (>50 Amps), and this inrush current can cause the DC8 relays to fuse. I recommend that you use these ballasts on outlets 1-3 or 5-7."

Is this ok?

What would be recommended output numbers are ok. From the above statement, seems 1-3 is logical, but should I spread out 1,2,5????

OR
Should I shell out mo’ bux for a DC4HD???

Be sure to plug them into any DC8 outlet with the exception of 4 and 8 and you should be fine.
