I just installed my new lights and all I can say is WOW! My tank is much brighter and the reflux 20K is beautiful. I went from Giesmann 150W to Lumen Bright 250w. My SPS corals are loving it.

I Also built a wall unit to surround the tank. I just have to put on all the moldings but you can get an idea of what It looks like. The side bookcases are 8' and the middle is close to 9'.

Here you go!

How far do you have the bottom of the reflector from the surface of the water?? Yours look way brighter than mine. Mine are 12" from the bottom of the reflector to the water. I wonder if I need to lift mine up some????

The canopy is about 22 1/2'' tall. I guess the lights are 18'' off the water. I built in adjustments so I can bring them closer if I need to. I think bringing them up higher will make a wider spread that should do better as not to make a spot light effect.

I have my lights on for 3.5 hours now. Jeremy, do you think I could bring the photo period up to 4 or 5. They've only been in for 2 days or should I wait a week or so to increase the time?
