I got a 75 gal tank stand gloss black junk pressed sawdust never used ten years old . Have had it stored 5 years in cellar. Noticed some swelled spots on bottom from moisture off of cement floor. Want to seal it it's not painted where edge set on floor. Oil base or any other sugestions.

I would question it strength if it has been wet. Be very careful if you try to use it. If it is a type of press board or particle board then it would not hold up well if it has been wet.

The spots very small won't bother anything . I just want to seal it to keep moisture off bottom where stand edge meets floor.

Wood sealer should work.

Ace hardware stores sell a wood preservative that soaks into rotten wood and almost turns it to plastic. Pretty cool stuff.

You may not like my answer but take it from a cabinet maker, particle board should not be used around moisture. MDF is better but it will swell if it gets wet. Plywood is the best choice particularly get exterior grade or well sealed with oil based paint. Most of the cheapo tank stands are particle board for that reason -- it's cheap.
You will regret using it. Sorry. :(
