Cycle and Chemistry Q?

Do I need to be concerned about Calcium and Alkalinity while my new tank is cycling? I understand the need to get it regulated, but it only has rocks and sand in it now. Is that an issue at this point?

Not while it's cycling, but you will need to make any needed corrections before adding corals or other sensitive livestock.
