Should i raise my Mg?

I finally got a MG test and tested last night. I am at 1,125.

My alk is a constant 10.6 and my Calcium at 420. To me these are pretty balanced numbers and they never change. Which leads me to my question... Should i raise the Mg, and if so, for what benefit if my other params remain in balance?

The recommended mag. level is 1250 - 1350. The ocean average level is around 1280. I have not seen any studies on the effects of high or low levels of mag. Having high enough mag. levels will prevent precipitation of calcium carbonate and what this level is, I have not seen any studies to determine it (this level probably will differ under different conditions in each tank). From what I have read, mag levels around 1,000 seems to be a cut off point for possible problems. Personally I would shoot for around 1280. :)
