I am building a tank which essentially is a half-cube 24 x 24 x 12.
It is acrylic, eurobraced (2.5" all around).
My original thought was MH pendant like a PFO... but now I am looking at T5s.
I have found that the 24" T5 fixtures are 4 bulbs... for the most part these fixtures are about 24" x 11". My concern is that the 11" dimension is too short and assuming that the pendant is centered, will not adequately light that full span of the tank.
My vision is that this tank will be a tidepool/cove where I can keep clams and maybe one or two small fish (that don't jump).
Any suggestions on lighting?
