Ok I have some green mushrooms in my tank and I dont want them in there any more. They are killing to many other coral and are growing way to fast. I would like to just get them out of my tank for good with out removing my rock. What should I do? HUMM! :bum:

I've heard that a paste made from kalk will do the trick...never tried it myself

yea, but do you remove the rock or apply it like apestasia treatments?

kalkpaste right on the coral in the water.. it should die
or
inject it with muriatic acid or kalkwasser

Cut them off with a sissors, scrape them off with a knife or pinch them off with your fingers. Scrub the area of attachment with a toothbrush to make sure you get all of it off and they don't grow back.

Kalk paste is pretty thick. It tends to stop up most needles, even thick gauges. You could try using a syringe without a needle, or a transfer pipette. In this case you would just put a blob of paste on top of the mushroom.
If you really relish the "lethal injection" aspect, you could make some saturated kalkwasser and inject that through a needle.
