Had a large pink cuke die today...noticed it b/c pieces of it were floating around in the tank when I got home from work. Removed the cuke. However now, 4 hours later all my corals are closed and the fish all are very stressed pumping their gills quickly like they can't get enought oxygen. I have heavy skimming, loads of current, and added what GAC I have left to try to remove a presumed toxin. Any ideas on the prognosis for my fish?

Big water change ASAP.. Cuke Nuke is coming your way, If picked on they release toxins into the water column

Looks like the GAC did the trick! The system is too large for a large impromptu water change (just over 350 gal) so I just prayed the GAC would save the day. Tank is still dark this AM but a flashlight search shows that my two large tangs are happy and I can spot at least some of the smaller fish. Corals are expanded again. Hope the wrasses show up when the lights come on.
