How often do you clean the wet side of the MP40?

just wondering if the performance slows down after a while of being in the tank...

The pump is fixed control around speed so it will never slow down but it could start to run hotter if the pump becomes clogged up. Also, clogs on the intake screen can reduce the flow. So long as the nozzle is clean, there really isn't much need at all to clean the wet end. Maybe a couple of times a year.
