I've seen a few of what I believe to be Odontodactylus scyllarus at a LFS. They want $40 each for these and I'm wondering if they are worth it? The've had em for a while and all are in good health, eating and show beautiful colors. Just wanting some opinions
Thanx

My LFS sells them for $20.
$40 sounds like a lot...
Look around for a while I'm sure you'll find a better deal. Also try looking on RC.

even 20 sounds like a lot. I would tell different LFS that you will offer your services to remove mantis shrimp from live rock for free. give them your card and tell them that you will probably end up finding somthing you wi;ll buy anyway when you come to catch the shrimp. also see if the owner will let you put up an ad saying you will go to somone's house and remove their mantis.

I would do a search for Aquacon under the Vender experiences first.
