My goal is to have the zoas cover the bottom like a carpet. So don't mind all of the zoa frags.

hi bmartin, welcome to the hobby, well my toughts on your tank are that the rocks dont look natural, too much thin rock, bare bottom is great and trying to get it covered in zoas is nice, i see a lot of frags that are scattered all around, maybe a better placement they would look a lot nicer, you have a big tank there that has a lot of potencial, good luck

Thanks, sasababit for the comments.
I used all tonga so I can get better flow through out the the rocks so I don't have any debris settiling on or on the rocks. I am not to worried about the rocks looking unnatural because coral is what will make the shape of the reef not the rock. I do like to make it look natural though.
On the frags scattered. I cant do too much about it. The cleanup crew with combination of the flow will move them wherever. But I am not to worried about it since you will not be able to see the plug/rubble when the zoas take over. just zoas.
If you want any info on the tank just ask.
Thanks, Brian

once your vision fills in i'd bet that's going to look very nice. i'm personally not a fan of the branch rock but it does make a lot of sense once it's all covered up in coral. good luck

Thanks guys. To be honest I was a fan of the tonga rock either. But after seeing it more often it grew on me and I love it. It allows you to fill up alot more space with less rock. I have about 50lbs in there. But between my 40gal frag tank and 30 gal fuge I have a total of about 100lbs of rock. So I am sittting at about .5lb of rock per gallon. I have around 200gallons.
Here is a pic of the fish room. (I cleaned up all the wires)

The pic is old and doesn't have the msx 200 skimmer and the geo 612 calcium reactor.

Awesome tank...I actually like the branchy rock...looks more unique than most reef tank. Can't wait till the coral and coraline come in and it should look even better.
