i am wanting to get rid of the flex hose from my overflow box and plumb with pvc. i am building a sump/fuge from a 20 gallon long. i would like to go to 1" pvc and T off so that i have flow to fuge area and skimmer area, with my return being in the middle. does anyone see a problem with me going from the standard flex tube size to the 1" ID pvc?

Now, i'm not sure without a pic how your bulkheads are setup.

Drain side: Is the flex pvc glued to the bulkhead?

no, it is just forced into the hole.
