so i just added a small frag of xenia in my tank and it was doing really well! i woke up in the morning it grew even bigger. and when i woke up from a nap i notice my large turbo snail next to it and my xenia stalk is kind of purple now.... and it doesnt seem to pulse anymore.... anyone know what happened?
i decided to do a water test
ph:8.2
ammonia 0
nitrate and nitrite 0

well last night i can confirm that my turbo snail was sucking on it.... and its only the large one.. so i moved him to my sump. and this morning when i woke up my xenia was all purple but i still see very small pulses
should i leave the lights off or on for 8 hours a day? see if it can recove.

I would just stick to the same regime you have going on right now. Parameters look good, assuming lighting is sufficient, no problem. Xenia can be a tricky coral.
Here's a good article.
