current usa vs. aqua-medic

So i have finally decided between two light fixtures. But i need help making my final desicion... These fixtures would be installed on my 75gal tank.

1) Aqua-Medic Ocean Light T5 MH combo = 48" 2-150watt MH and 2-T5 Acinctics
2) Current USA Outer Orbit = 48" 2-150watt MH and 2-PC Acintics

Does anyone have any experience with either of these fixtures?
Please let me know! any input would be gretly apprecaited.

I would definitely pick Current over AM.
Have had several Current fixtures, love em.
But I would get the MH/T5 combo, not PC's

i like the Current lights as well, but for some odd reason i kinda want the Aqua-Medic light?

lol so you just want someone to reinforce your decision that want the Aqua-medic? I think you just answered your own question.

If it were me, I'd go with a MH / T5 setup as well (sorry I'm not helping your decision)

T5's are better than PCs. Current makes MH with T5's also. AM makes good stuff as well, but they are pricey. If I read it right current uses electronic ballasts for their MH and AM uses magnetic.

That's what 90% of these types of posts are about. No offense to the OP, but a day doesn't go by where someone doesn't ask a question that they know the answer to....but keep fishing anyway. "So I saw this $50 light on ebay and I was wondering..." Followed by 4 posts of... "no" "no" "no" "no". "Any other opinions?" lol Trust me, go with your gut!

On a side note, I have the Current HQI/T5 combo. I love it. And Current has the best moonlight LED's on their fixtures. They light up my tank at night and the tank flouresces something nice!

Id take aquamedic over current any day of the week. I have had a couple Current fixtures, and was less than thrilled with them. They are good, low end fixtures, and thats all.
