We had to change modems, still with Netgear, but now it won't allow connection my desktop and ACIII Pro (previously worked for years). I changed IP address, and it all seems to match. Could the router have a default to block the controller? Time Warner says it's a network issue, so it is not their problem.

did you port forword 192.168.1.50 port 80??? in the router? I work for Time Warner In WI and yes it would be a netgear issue not a modem.

First of all, Go Pack-I'm from Green Bay. I tried to list that IP but it said it was an incorrect address,

also, somehow the aquacontroller wont let me go up to ".5" on the last digit of the address, on to ".255". It used to go up to .5, but not anymore. I'm the one who also has nonsense readings for temp and pH. Can the unit just go bad?

The netgear page also asks for the service name. Would that be HTTP?

Each number in the ip address can only be between 0 and 255. You can give the service any name; it is just used so that you can easily remember what it is for.

Service Name : ACIII
Service Type: TCP/UDP
Startng Port: 80
Endling Port: 80
Service Ip: 192.168.1.50

Also make sure uPnP is enabled

Please clarify, can you connect locally to your AC. From your home computer to the AC?

I had a network guy figure it out, so at least I can now connect to the controller from my desktop. The next hurdle is to try to get in offsite. Any advice?

Now it even works offsite! Now on to the Aqua Notes which I have never used. Is there a new version now that I can upgrade to? Mine is V3.40.
