Green algae or slime

i keep getting a light green slime on my glass, i wipe it off and it grows back in a few days, i have a bunch of snails but they cant keep up. i lowered my light time being on and it still seems not to help...sooo help!

The best way to get rid of any nuisance algae is to frop the nitrates and phosphates basically starve the algae and it wont grow back because there is nothing to feed it these algaes thrive off nitrates and phosphates.
