Refuge algea

SHould i really use cheato macro algea in my refugium. Is it the best and what are the pros and cons of others.

I used calerpa in the past, before going to chaeto. To me it seem the Chaeto just grows better and faster. Seems to do a better job with nutrients absorption. But I really only had experience with calerpa for a little while.

i would go with cheato. Certain types of caulerpa can get into your main system and be a major problem. Cheato is very dense and also supports a pod population which is good for your display, especially for your fish that prefer a live diet.
