For my 55 gallon reef I really need some new 150 watt halide bulbs. I'm currently running 150 watters, but will be upgrading to 250 in a couple months. Since I'll only be using whatever new bulbs I get for a couple months, or maybe less, I really don't want to pay 60 bucks each for new bulbs. Just wondering if these lights are ok for use for sps corals. I would probably go with 14k's but maybe 10k's. Would these do the job at least temporarily? Here's a link.
