I pruchased a(he told me it was turbinia, but the polyps look to small and don't extend as most other cups i've seen) 2.5x2.5 frag 2 weeks ago from my lfs, he had it for 2 weeks prior. Now it is lossing color and is starting to have a good amount of tissue ressesion. Tank par: ammo. 0ppm; nitrite 0ppm; nitrate 0ppm; phos 0ppm; sal. 1.025; dkh 9-11; ca 440; mag (?). i do 2x 5gallon WC a week with reef crystals salt. 4x54 t5s ati bulbs on a long photo period, it is now placed high in the tank, it was mid level, but i moved it when i started to see a decline in health. 1200 gph in the display, and had a k1 4'' away blowing directly on it. Anyone see why it would be dieing?

The pump is a bit close IMO. Do you dose Strontium?

yes that looks like it but mine is/was BRIGHT yellow. It is moved away from the pump now and it was only 400gph with out the piece that focuses it down, very wide 400 gph. No i don't add extra strontium, Randy holmes-farley says that it isn't needed, that the WC should more than take care of that. Plus that is the only "larger"(still small) stony i have to burn through the strontium, just snails, crocea, coraline, and macros.
