Acrylic turned yellow

I have the 60" MH/T5 fixture and went to replace my bulbs and found that on only one side the acrylic cover piece had turned yellow, right under where one of the mh bulbs is. Is this normal? fixture is just over a year old. bulb configuration is the same as listed in signature.
