This stand is about 5 years old and was designed for a 150 gallon tank. But as with most stands, it seems to look a bit flimsy. The structure is solid, but I mean the thickness of the plywood. Would you guys feel safe using this for a new 150 gallon reef setup?

The wood does seem to be in great shape w/ no rot or water damage.

Does anyone know the maker of this stand and whether they are any good?

The one bolted piece was removed to fit in a sump by the previous owner. I'm planning on doing it again to swap the sump and then gluing it w/ wood glue as well as a screw. The dust on it is drywall dust, not salt.

The stand looks like one I have on my 120 fw tank. How are the vertical braces attached. It looks like it spreads the weight over the whole bottom of the stand and that is good.

They are nailed to the horizontal brace, also they have a groove cut into them.

Any more opinions please?
