I think those are "trash grade" not "FOOD GRADE".

Brute cans are "food grade" plastic from what I have read.

Brute are food grade (at least the colors), look for the NSF on the can. I'm pretty sure the grey one I got at lowes is NSF cert too but check to be sure.

Thanks. I found a couple different styles there I might could use for top off water.

I like the tall black Tamco you can find on USplastics link there. Holds 20 gal and pretty unobstrusive.

i have used many of the Brute trash cans without any known problems for years. they make a 20 gallon one and then the bigger ones as well.

this is the 20 gallon i am using for Berghia cultivation.
