Another Loud Sicce

I got my skimmer 2 weeks ago today, and when I first got it, it made a little noise (suttle buzzing) which went away in a few days.
Yesterday it started making all sorts of racket, so I put the meshwheel in and it was quiet again. Today I put the pinwheel back in, and it started with the noise again.

Whats going on? I know you say there is a "break in" period with these pumps, but it makes no sinse that it would start quiet then get loud, but stay quiet with the meshwheel in....

Also, when I pinch the line it stays noisey... When I restart it, its quiet for a few seconds then starts with the noise...

I run mine sideways for a month or so to break it in cause it is quiet on its side don't ask me why. then put it upright.and was quiet with some growling here and there. it should quiet down for you. Jeff and Rob have it goin on they are good people and probably will tell you better than I.

i have tried running it sideways and that hasn't seemed to help at all...
