Any experience with these skimmers?

So I have a bit of an issue. One of the LFS had a Euroreef RS-180 on consignment for $300. So I sold my CS 6-2 for $250. $50 upgrade right? Well I got it home and the pump is seized up. I took it back and they said it was the magnet on the impeller and they would either buy a new one for me at cost or give me my money back. I am little leery of paying another $40 and not knowing if the old magnet did any damage to the inside of the pump. So I am leaning toward taking my money back. But that leaves me skimmerless. So I have been looking. I am wondering if any of you have any experience with the Octopus Extreme Skimmer model 160, The ASM G-3, or the AquaEuro PS250?

I use an ASM G3 skimmer and it is okay for my moderately stocked 125. If they were available back then I would have gotten the Octopus instead. My next skimmer will be a cone, either bubble king or KZ cone.
