I purchased 3 Acan Lords from you guys in the past week, one word, AWESOME!

Excellent packing, excellent shipping, corals arrived in excellent condition. Thank you.

Question on lighting though. I have a 125 gallon tank 72"x18"x20" Lighting is 3X250 HQI MH.

The 2 Acans I received today I have on the bottom on the sand .But the one I received last week I put on the rocks not quite but almost midway up in the tank under a 250W MH it seems OK but is this too much light? Do you thinkl I would be better off lowering it?

Thank you. You guys have a great website and beautiful corals. Good luck to you.

AugustWest,

Thank you for the great comments and we are extremely excited to hear that all are doing well.

To answer your question, we manage the lighting with a par meter and all of the Aussie Acans are maintained at a par level of 90-120 which will be in a shaded area or around the outer edges of the lighting. So less is better for health and most of all coloration.

I don't have access to a par meter. I think the one on the rocks was getting too much light so I have moved them all down on the sand. They look better down low anyway.

Thanks for the reply. When are you guys planning on offering some Zoo's , SPS etc. ?

Again, Beautiful Corals, keep 'em coming!

Sorry that I missed this!! Good to hear that the corals are doing better. Less is better when it comes to Acans.
