still trying to figure this one out. here are way better pics. about 3.2 inches now and mean. Hit me once already and very seclusive.

I'm sure you already thought of G. chiragra but I've never seen one with that coloration. Then again color is a poor indicator of species identification. What color are the merals?

White mearls.
I was about to raiz of you for NOT getting a shot of the mearls after being around for a while, but I went back and looked closer at the first picture and I am 99% sure you can see one.

im not sure i see white merals, but i'm fairly sure it's a G. chiragra.

agree with chiragra. i think i see the white meral spot on the left rapt in the first pic.

By the way you call that reclusive? Even with you being able to take so many open pics...

My G. viridis only comes out of the burrow halfway to grab food or rearrange some macroalgae.

i catch it randomly but its kind of sad that i have two chiragra's but i love my new one.

Wonderful color !!! Love that macro-algae too..can't find that around here. You're getting pretty good at those pics!!!
