recently added a 20 long refugium/sump, started skimming again, using RO water for top off, and today turned off lights to tank. how long until i can expect for the green algae to start dying off? i had unfortunately neglected tank for about a year... just sort of cleaned algae from glass and did the occasional water change. i have a new desire to make everything work well and keep a nice tank so be easy on me, lol.
