What was the reason for not using breather holes in the lid of the Reeflo Pro Collection cup? I receive mine today and just happened to notice the difference?

There isn't any holes in the pro cups because of the numerous requests for cups that can be used with ozone. So we decided that if you never plan on running ozone you can drill 4 1/4" holes in the outer rim of the lid. The air will vent through the drain. I ended up drilling one hole in my lid so the air pressure was minimal but was still able to place a bag of activated carbon over it when I ran ozone.

Thanks Jeremy. I plan to run Ozone in the future so I shouldn't drill the holes? I've never ran Ozone before, obviously you don't want it to escape the protein skimmer, is that what the carbon you use is for? You know of any good resources on using Ozone so I can read up on it? Also do you guys cary the Ozone safe seal for the Orca?

These are some some article that will give you a good understanding of ozone and how to use it.

About ORP (http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-12/rhf/feature/index.php)
Basically you want all exiting air to come in contact with activated carbon.
We do carry the ozone safe seals for the Reeflo Dart
