I can't speak for him, but I have an 85 gallon in my bedroom. It helps me sleep, I had insomnia for awhile until I went to night shift and in the mornings before I go to bed I stare at the fish under the blue moonlights before drifting off to sleep.

It was actually recommended by my doctor, which was awesome because it made it that much easier to tell the wife I needed another tank

Thanks everyone! I love the tank in my bedroom! Its not loud at all. I did my best to keep the noise down. The fan on the light is the loudest thing, but the MH is on at night. LOL!

What kind of light are you using? I have always had a problem finding a decent light for my 20L

Its a 20'' 150W HQI Current Sunpod. They make a 30'' model also, but I got the 20'' for a good price. I may take this one down and do a dual 150w MH retro with two 24'' T5HO's. I want to keep SPS so Im looking for a better spread and high par.

Sweet looking tank! Is it really only 20L?? Looks alot bigger... You have some gorgeous livestock in there. Any more specs? Do you run a sump/skimmer/etc?

I have a rimless 45L sitting dormant, that I had intended to set up as a FW Killi tank... This has given some interesting inspiration, though!

Good stuff

Tank looks nice, using the stock 10k bulb still? It looks like it?

It's drilled, I would assume yes.

is your flow from the loc line return only? I also have a 20l and have cyano and it is driving me nuts!! I can't up the flow too much as I have hammers and frogspawns that will not do well in extra flow...I have a sundial T5 fixture with Geisemann and KZ bulbs, 2 hydo nanos and a return that pushes maybe 150-200gph....drilled

Thank You Everyone!!!

The bulb is a 15K XM HQI.

Im running a 10 gallon sump. I just bought a 4' x 8' sheet of acrylic to build a better sump. I need more room for a skimmer. I dont have the skimmer yet, but I plan on putting a Euro-Reef RS 80 in the new sump.

http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h59/dustint21/DSC00855.jpg

I did drill the tank. There are 3 holes. One 1.5'' bulkhead for the overflow, and two 1'' bulkheads for the returns. That is all I have for flow at this point I would like to either add a MP20 or 2 Tunze 6025's. The return is a Mag 7 hooked to a SQWD. This works really well, but Im going to switch the Mag 7 to a Mag 5 to help slow the flow in the sump. I have the Mag 7 choked down with a ball valve now to help this problem.

Very nice looking tank. Can I ask how much sand and rock you have in there? I have about 20 pounds of sand in mine, putt in last night. I am trying to decide how much rock I want to put in. It will be coming from my 120 so I can add as much as I want but don't want to kill all the space.

Thanks,
Brett

Hi Brett! I have 20lbs of sand and prolly about 20lbs of LR. The rocks are small to help make the tank look bigger. Just alittle trick I learned from the other nano freaks. LOL! Good luck man!
