How does everyone do it? Freestanding? Attached to the canopy? A clip on the tank rim? Pics if you have them please.
I dont like the "Freestanding" approach, secured to me would limit vibration, noise and leaks.
125g, Blueline 40 pump in stand, 2 or more returns off the pump from over the top. Tank is drilled in the back about 4 1/2" from top for return lines but I havent come up with a anti-siphon setup yet that im comfortable with.

HD and other home stores carry PVC pipe clamps in various sizes. They are typically used to secure PVC conduit to a wall. Look in the electrical department. While you can't attach with a screw to your tank, a little silicone or epoxy will normally hold it securely.

I secured my valve with ty-wraps. Works, holds steady, cheap and disposable.

My return is 1.5" PVC, that formw a "rake" with 4 3/4" loc line outlets at the top. It's heavy and won't stand on it's own. I strapped it to the tank with a plastic pipe tie that I got at home depot. Wasn't strogn enough, so I bolted a wooden brace.
