I've some Ochtodes I need to ship. When I originally bought the algae I paid for overnight, but I'd like to keep costs down if possible. I have styro shipping box, and it's a pretty hardy algae. Would ground shipping (3 to 4 days) be ok?

only way to know is to ship the ochtodes. its a perfect time to ship right now, its not too hot or too cold.

I hope you're going to warn the person you're shipping the Ochtodes to that it's an invasive species, and they may regret getting it later.

She'll be fine. It is for a 300ish macro tank. It will look great in contrast to reds + greens once it grows in.

Just keep in mind that it will eventually attach to all of the LR in the tank, and is very difficult to remove once that happens. That was my experience....

ditto-

very cool looking macro. it's brittle and highly invasive.
