i know alot of people suggest having at least 75 gallon plus to keep these two fish...i recently got a custom 28x28x28 tank and its 95 gallon tank, but the dimention of the tank, has me second guessing if it'll be good enough to hold these tangs? PLease help:eek2: :eek2:

Here is some good advice on tangs. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1593159
There is no way a tank of those dimensions is appropriate for an achilles (or the purple really)

No problem. There are many other beautiful reef fish you can look into. Good luck:)

The only one I would even consider would be a Ctenocheatus species, something like the Kole or Tomini. Otherwise, I'd probably pass on any surgeonfish.

the kole tang is a thought...but i wouldnt have a problem at all keeping it in my cube?...i wouldnt to harm any fish on purpose for my own entertainment needs

anybody got a list of fish you would recommend on a 28x28x28 tank that would look lovely in it?

Clownfish like a true perc pair
a couple of firefish.
a drarf fireball angel, or a flame angel.
Jawfish are cool.
Flasher wrasses like a Mc Coskers. You could keep a male and a tio of females. You would need the top to be jump proof though.
Theres alot of others Like dart fish.
A pistol shrimp and goby combo.
Mant to chose from. Ya just have to look.

I'm with creetin. Wrasses and a flame angel would make for just as active fish. If you get any lined wrasses get them last to cut back on stress on the others
