I need a new skimmer solution

I am on a budget, so I was think about buying two Current fission recirc. skimmers and running them in seires, and for 170 shipped for both, I think this might be a decent solution. Does anyone have any opinions or other options? the total system is little less than 200gallons.

don't bother with the fission, they leak and are just a mess. The old NW octos/swc are not bad, but they do not do as well as their sicce brethren. Now if you are talking about the octo xtreme/MSX with the sicce pumps, then those may be the best value on the market right now. But, I will agree with JDL and wait until you can afford the skimmer you really want. Now I run the MSX 200 in my tank and they can handle a 200g, but depending on your stocking load and budget, there are other options. For a 200g system, look to spend no less than $300 unless it is a used skimmer... even then $300 is a bargain for some used skimmers
