acan melting

I have this 1 acan colony I got it through the mail and It didn't arive well , box was beat up and the bag inside broke open and everything was wet anyways I tried to aclamate it the best I could it looked like it started to decay and after a couple of days I decided to cut the afected area away but it diden't help and its still melting dose anybody know what would cause or how to treat it heres some pics.

lets assume that my water is ok I have a lot of other acans in the same tank under the same light same flow no problems.

I would go lower light and lower flow for now with that one. Maybe even a dip in Coral Revive. The dip is a tough call, though, as you dont want to stress it anymore than it already is.

I would definitely put it in lower light and flow.

I would also think that you contacted the seller to let them know. I am hoping there is some sort of guarantee.

Cut it asap a ways past the infection.

Dip in revive.

Put in medium to medium/high flow

It's a pretty good dip, and you can dose lower than what they recommend.

i had one that did the same thing and didnt make it. good luck with yours.

dip and cut should work for a few head. better than losing everything.
