Just as the title states will it work?

Yes. Just add the bicolor first (because is the more sensitive). Then add a flame angel, smaller than the bicolor.
The bicolor will chase the flame eventually, just for a while, but nothing serious.
I've done it before and know a few guys that did the same and always works.

I would personally add them at the same time.
FYI bi colors are noted as one of the worst centro's for coral nipping. Be prepared if you are adding it to a reef tank.

wilcalil,
How long has your bicolor angel been in your tank?

HIt and miss with the bi-color. I had one that never caused a problem with my corals.

My Flame has been in the display tank for about a month. The BiColor is in a sperate tank and I have had for about 3 months.
I also have a small maroon clown with the Bicolor and Hve been thinking of putting them both in the display tank however there is a very large Maroon in there now so I may have to captive float the small maroon in with the larger before it is accepted but it may be too small yet as it is probably 1/3 the size of the larger. Wanting them to pair up.

I have had mine for almost two years and he hasn't picked at anything but a Pocillopora. He doesn't do that any more. I have stony corals and Xenia.
