Is the addis butterfly a big reef no no. My lfs has 2 forĀ£110 each and they are gorgeous!

According to Scott Michael's book, they feed on stony corals to a varying degree and most are not to be trusted in a reef aquarium. Apparently smaller ones are more likely to adapt to aquarium life than larger ones.

will definitely take down a reef... and very quickly. i have one in my FOWLR. Great fish, I'd like a few more :)

I knew the answer really. Ive read up on these guys but i couldnt stop thinking about them after i left the lfs. Fair enuf-i wont even consider these guys!:D

Well in a large FOWLR system, they are awesome. I had three in a 350 gallon and they worked well.
