Hey guys, I just have a quick question. A couple weeks ago we picked up a new light for our 20g tank. This (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+12109&pcatid=12109) is the light we picked up (the 24" model).

We just picked up a small frag with some green zoa's on it. The guy at the LFS is telling me that me have too much light on this tank, and that we should probably raise it up higher from the tank. Just wondering if this is something we should do.

Also, is it going to hurt the zoa's we just picked up?

That is a lot of light, but if your not having heat issues I doubt it's "Too Much Light".

See how your zoas respond to the light, or try some more light demanding corals

Our tanks temp is currently 77.4 degrees (thats with the probe closer to the bottom of the tank.

So the Zoa's aren't going to be hurt the amount of light then?I'll put them in the bottom of the tank to start off.
