Mixing Salt brands?

I've been using Crystal Reef Salt in my tank for the past year and now my LFS no longer stocks it. I was told I could use Red Sea going forward. Has anyone done this?

I'm not sure about the Red Sea but Foster and Smith has a good sale going on Reef Crystals (I'm assuming you meant to type that). You can get a 160 gal bucket for 31.99. I just ordered 3 buckets earlier this week. It was only about $13 shipping for all 3.

You can mix salt brands with no ill effects, there may be different levels of trace elements and you may have to tweek your dosing for cal, alk etc
